We are making our way across Russia, from Moscow to Vladivostok, with pit stops in a few cities, towns and villages in between. The entire trip would mean we would be covering a distance of more than 10,000 kilometers over a span of 45 days across Europe & Asia, which also includes a short trip to Mongolia. All this via the Trans-Siberian railway network, with a few buses here and there.
Here is a photograph from our first stop - Nizhny Novgorod, viewed from the outer wall of the Kremlin. Birth place of the famous writer Maxim Gorky, also a meeting point of the Oka and Volga rivers. Nizhny Novgorod boasts of some spectacular views, thanks to its great landscape.
